APESA is SALEF’s alumni and [GEM] at-large membership organization[GEM], geared at Salvadoran-American professionals and students in higher education. APESA’s mission is to contribute to the educational, civic, and professional growth of the Salvadoran-American community through cultural-awareness[GEM] programs; the creation of leadership and professional opportunities; [GEM] and the support [GEM] of projects in the United States and in El Salvador[GEM] that promote and advance the attainment of an education.
